Amalgam Removal Treatments
What is the protocol to safely remove amalgam at your practice?
The protocol that we have been using for 21 years is a protocol that was developed by both Dr. Huggins and the IAOMT organization together.
It is called safe removal and it is a protocol that is very detail oriented and entails protecting respiratory airways of the patients and employees.
How is the removal done?
We use vacuums, oxygen, masks, rubber dams and other things that will prevent the mercury filling from splattering on the tissues of the patient or the airway.
It is very detailed the entire process is on our website.

Importance of regular dental visits to maintain a healthy lifestyle explained Dr. Yolanda Cintron
There is a great doctor that wrote a book called, ‘The Hidden Epidemic’, and he is a cardiologist attorney that has documented thousands of biopsies of patients that have had heart attacks, atherosclerosis, and cancer.
They have found in all the biopsies that they did on the heart, atherosclerosis, or the cancer organs they found an oral bacterium that is called fusobacteria
So, I encourage people to seek help get a great office that you feel that you are loved and embraced and that you are being taken care of.
Have a good routine oral hygiene appointment, I would say no more than two months.
Every two months to have a professional hygienist disinfect your gums. So that way you will lose the risk of having heart attacks, endocarditis bacteremia, cancer and other illnesses that may live in the mouth.
We look forward to getting you to a healthier state of being. Call us today (855) 381-6001 to set up an appointment.
Zirconia Dental Implants by Dr. Yolanda Cintron
What are the two types of Implants that are available?
There are two kinds of implants, traditional or titanium implants, and that is 100% metal.
Why do you recommend Zirconia?
With Biological demands of people having electrical currents and trying to avoid what they call oral galvanism. Patients request more and more the use of an implant that has less metal.
Zirconia oxide is metal, but when it becomes oxidized, then it is a ceramic. Therefore, patients have a better alternative as it is 99.97% ceramic oxide and it has .03% in-house metal.
Therefore, the comparison of the amount of metal is minimum compared to other alternatives.
